@threat @wyliesau Interesting idea. There was a guy in town who used to come onstage, start a CD player with bass/drum tracks, and then play guitar while barfing out vocals. He made a good go of it for awhile.

@threat @wyliesau To be bluntly honest, as I always am:"Leviathan, Striborg, and Xasthur"NOT a good representation of the genre.I can see noise working differently, although some of the collabs like that "Absolut Null Punkt" album are gold. It was sort of what Crash Worship always wanted to be.

@basileion @wyliesau That was that interesting transitional period when people had not yet given up on being Destruction, but were not yet at Kreator or Fleshcrawl.The most recent Fleshcrawl I listened to was dreadful however, like a Marvel commercial soundtrack by Exhorder.

@amerika @wyliesau I haven't paid attention to Fleshcrawl's more recent releases for a while, but I feared they were going in that direction. It's a shame that they did, because Impurity is one of the most played albums on my stereo.

@amerika @wyliesau Bloodsoul is a frequent listens for me as well. Both of those albums are a very muscular and powerful variety of death metal. It sounded like, over time, the band began to incorporate elements of Gothenburg metal into their sound.
