@CSB Order of importance of criteria in show-art judging:1. Holiday Seasonality, which trumps2. Humor, which trumps3. Does it Pop? which trumps4. Relevancy, which trumps5. Edgy Graphic Design, which trumps6. Phoning it in. Nailing #2-#6 in one work is the sweet spot. I find I can't achieve this very often, but it's fun to try. I think I need to spend the first hour of the show just sketching/honing the idea before even toughing the computer.

@CSB I put Holiday Seasonality as #1 because we had 5 seasonal show art winners in a row a few months ago. During this 2-week span of time it doesn't make sense to create anything non-holiday related, anything topical.

@roundy @CSB the relevancy seems to be a tough target as if you nail the show title it seems to hurt the chances. I’ll also ad that concepts that tie back to the comforts and innocence of our youth are powerful. Rockem sockem robots and such are among my personal favorites. I appreciate all of your work greatly and hope to get one as I just got an Adobe sweet for here at the farm so hopefully I can take a Sunday off and troll along soon. ITM + Karma and goat to you all
