       I'm trying to go a week without getting in a car.  Meeting friends in Apple Valley, about 20 miles from home.   I headed downtown, then Mall of America, then the Red Line  to 147th st station, which is clean (but the heater's broken). Standing 8 yards from 50mph traffic is nuts,  but the walls help block the noise.  Travel time 1:40.  Spent the time steaming back episodes of @TheWarOnCars  on the free WiFi.   @MetroTransit +1, @cars -2
