@arstechnica i been tilling ppl to change there passwords since December and then you have the morons who say its NOT that bad, you dont need to change all your passwords.im like anytime there is a data breach you change your password and if a password manager has a breach you change all your passwords to be safe.then they say you over worry then months later we read yup change your passwords.took me 5 hours to change mine i self host with bitwarden meow

@arstechnica ever since the lastpass breach ive been getting lots of password resets and emails from scammers trying to convince me my accounts are hacked to email them aka they read my notes and urls ive sent the same email to all my emails i had in there and they also attached the same emails to that 1 email in hopes id get scared

@arstechnica Based on how incredibly terrible LastPass's security was to allow this specific attack, I wouldn't wait on LastPass to confirm it, either.

@arstechnicaI was a LastPass customer from 2014 up until December 2022. I had enough. I'm using Bitwarden now, and satisfied.
