I think @Savagejen might appreciate this oneWent to the hardware store. Almost got everything I needed on the first try, but I didn't realize one pipe was 2" (didn't match the other one which is 1.5")Went back to the hardware store to get the adapter I needed. Forgot my wallet. It's 40 minutes before they close and home is about 20 minutes awayCame back home, got my wallet, and made it back to the hardware store for a 3rd time before they closedRain barrel installed hours before the rain

So to anyone who feels like every project requires 3 trips to the hardware store no matter how many parts you have an how many you need... just know that it's not just you.

@adam Having worked in a hardware store, I can tell you there were two types. There were people we would see three or four times for the same project, some stupid little thing came up that would have them back in the store every day for a week, and then there were the people we saw once.Not because the project was finished, but because they didn't want to come back in after buying the wrong thing. People get super embarrassed about that stuff and I don't get it. I guess if you're not a maker and live primarily in the corporate world you're not used to the utter stupidity that a project can throw at you when you have nobody to blame but yourself.
