       @mitchmarq42xyz This is the wrong question. The right one is "what feature could you add to Emacs that is so awesome that users would pay for it, but cannot be easily replicated". Nobody is going to touch a bytecode-only proprietary extension, so anything you distribute can be copied for free.You're better off creating a SaaS with subscriptions, and provide a free Emacs client.

       @mitchmarq42xyz I pay for OSS as a way of supporting developers but a 3rd party might push things a bit.   Besides nobody ever likes anyone else’s Emacs configuration anyway.
