       For those who are interested, Eric Topol's newsletter this week has much more detailed information about COVID and the increased risk of heart attack and stroke.        @Sidlowkid No, that's not what I'm saying.This is what I'm saying:If people who don't get infected have a risk of 1, vaccinated people who get infected have a risk of 1.4, and unvaccinated people who get infected have a risk of 2. Very roughly! Math is not my strong point! But these are the trends.

       @grammargirl is that 1.4x increase just from vaccination, or from vaccination plus infection (I read the original piece but wasn’t sure how you made that calculation)?

       @geoff_green No! Ack! Vaccination is good.If you are infected, and vaccinated, your risk of a heart attack or stroke is about half what it would be if you weren't vaccinated.But it is still higher than if you didn't get infected at all.
