Uh oh, now both Fishy and Ruby are demanding that I get more Patreon subscribers so I can write more facts and buy them more treats.I tried to explain to them that they're looking a little round and maybe they don't need more treats.They told me to shut up. @lowqualityfacts I have two former ferals also, and both of them wanted to eat their heads off when I took them in. Now they're both about 13 pounds, which is a bit on the heavy side, despite me trying to keep things in order. Normally I never let my pets get overweight, but these guys have gone hungry.I was at the vet's Saturday, and she agreed. She has a feral she re-socialized six months ago who's put on weight, and she said, "[The cat] was hungry before, she'll never be hungry again." 🤷♀️
