So real talk, how does this vtuber thing work with their "management"? Could they pull the plug on her? I think I heard her say something about she doesn't own ANYTHING of the avatar so when a vtuber "retires" they just poof away.

Her vtuber management company owns the rights to the character, so essentially yes. Poof. I don't think she has any option to buy the IP out, either, and they aren't obligated to grant that.

Oh and to add more info on the Pippers specifically, she used to be a relatively big Indie vtuber before her debut in Phase Connect so even if they can her she's going to be alright.

Yeah but she wasn't Pipkin Pippa before joining Phase Connect, They would own the model, the channel and social media. Essentially everything related to "Pipkin Pippa" would be theirs. But she could still continue streaming under a different alias as an indie.

If they fire her, she is probably one of the very few vtubers who could restart from scratch without major issues. The Shitposting Community is very used to people having to ban-evade, or create a "new" persona. I hope they go after her, the drama would be amazing.
