When looking for a camera cable I came across my 1st mp3 player, a RCA Lyra from 2000-01. It had an internal memory of 128MB and supported a full size SD card of 128MB in the back and cost $150-200. I put a battery in and it fired right up. I'm thinking about using it when I cut grass.#ThrowBackThursday #retrotech #retrotechnology

@That_One_Guy Nice! I don't recall that my first MP3 player was but this was definitely in the mix. Was great until the rubber started to disintegrate.

@That_One_Guy the durability, simplicity, and small size of these sorts of non-ipod players actually made them pretty decent little devices.

@viktorMost definitely, my father in law uses a small SanDisk brand one to this day. We just bought him a new one for his birthday.

@viktorI don't recall that one but for a while there were a lot on the market. I recall using some of Sony's weird storage back in the day.
