@LawnRanger @Cbrooklyn112 Memes are the single greatest asset we have to shock people out of their slumber.A long drawn out argument only invites some asshat to come in and make semantic arguments or deliberately misinterpret some minor points and strawman them.The elegant simplicity of a great true and hilarious meme can’t be drug down into the mud.They are well worth the space they take and I’d bet most here would donate for storage if asked.

@Murray_N @Cbrooklyn112 as a storage admin in my day job I know how challenging storage can be, but I don't think you can have a social network like this without memes. I don't know how / where they are hosting NAS but a small strike team can be assembled to figure out a solution.

I just noticed if I scroll my history it keeps going and going and going. especially without search turned on I don't see why that's useful to anybody. A conversation could be started about how long to keep. But purging after a certain period of time would free up a shit ton I'm sure.

@LawnRanger @Cbrooklyn112 @eriner I was hesitant to do it but the argument for opsec convinced me.Every now and then some raging hater would drop into a thread and start yelling at me for some “insensitive “ comment I’d made and the next thing you know they are going through my history and screaming at me for shit I’d said a year ago.It wouldn’t bother except for that a lot of these psychos are coders and I don’t want them trying to dox me.Smaller attack surface with shorter tails…..

@Sir_Ivissia @Cbrooklyn112 @LawnRanger Nobody has it all figured out and everyone has some blind spot that might have a bit of light shined into it with the right combination of imagery and commentary.Or some koan like experience, a bit of scripture, and experience that suddenly makes the connections in their minds, etc. It happens to me all the time.In addition, everyone has some value, even if it to serve as an example of what not to do.
