@scenesbycolleen I deleted my post because I was being dumb with reading comprehension. I thought the name was "the black pillar nebula" and totally missed that the nebula as a whole is called the "eagle nebula." So, I have to retract the dangerous misinfo that I posted on the internet. When I search 'the black pillar nebula' it comes up because you titled it 'black pillar nebula' on deviantart, and Google weights titles more. But it doesn't come up when I search 'the black pillar eagle nebula.' Anyways, it's one of my favorites among the ones you've posted. Most photographs of nebulae I've seen make them look like the color of turds, but your painting makes it look like magic and blood.

@ai here we go so you can see the "black pillar" on the bottom of this pic, the famous "pillars of creation" is about center here, and I think opposite them is the... uhhh I thought it had a name that had to do with mountains but it doesn't seem obvious or I'm confusing it with a different nebula. we're gonna call it the mountains of madness for noweaglenebula.png
