this is some of my digital artwork i made over the years. and yes, i gender swapped @Jim for jade. i never really had as much fun with digital art as i do with old fashioned. something about the mess and feeling the canvas brings it out for me, i guess. i might pick up digital art again just to see what i can do. i used to work with digital models too. i've got a plethora of old pngs from what i worked on. btw, the model of the woman's name is camille. you won't find her, she doesn't exist.

the life cycle of mister curie or vent as you know him.1-5: it started off with an image of lain (imagine that)... 6-10: i changed it to a fox onesie... i also made the eye hole a bit of a meme generator, which never caught on. curie's always been a perv. i have a deep fascination with body horror.11: for about two minutes i changed his attire, this was the dmx stage. i had a bit of an old school rap stage when i was designing him.12: also made a full body for him too!this is where i changed the name from mister curie to vent. i suppose he's still mister curie.13-18: then i began doing 3d work to make mister curie into my own character. i tried to make him age a bit. i wasn't happy with the result so i worked on it some more. which made me come up with the fancy vent attire. them i changed his face to have a calavera appearance. it's a direct connection to another character of mine named the Art Salesman, he's a bit of a representation of the struggles of being an artist. 19-20: now here we are. my boy is the best in story telling and painting but such a wonderful art project, i can't help but shed a tear.

it's very strange to me, how we grieve. without hiro, i wouldn't have started painting but that wasn't until after he passed away. since he passed, i've been trying to find more meaning in my life. it seems like after he died, the world began this process of ending itself. no matter where i seem to look, all i find is cold fragility in the hearts of humanity. hiro was the light of my life, he's the reason why i paint and why i want to do better in life. to be honest, i feel like sometimes i'm just kidding myself and just rowing down life. i think it's cruel that all we have of our loved ones, big fluffs or human, are just photographs, memories left behind. they go somewhere else... and we're left holding the pieces.i hope that life changes for the better, i'm tired of feeling alone in a broken, mentally ill world.
