@Shlomo Well it's not a larp, like, in the operational calculations which any Cadre Officer is taught, there are different co-efficients for an SMO and a War, and there are also different margins of how many civilian deaths are allowed.In general, there are things that you just don't do in an SMO, which are perfectly fine in a war

@white_male @Shlomo Ehh, people overestimate China militarily, they are an ECONOMIC power. This is not the same as military power.There is a reason why they buy and copy from Russian, not the other way around. They do not have a net-centric military, they do not have world ISR, they do not have a proper submarine force, they have no experience in any modern military engagements.But this will definitely give them an opportunity to learn from Russia, and maybe even give Russia some batches of Chinese equipment for testing in a warzone.
