I saw people complaining about there being too many foreigners but, again, people can fly and teleport in this universe so it's not really surprising there'd be people from all over the world in the prodigious magical school. The schools janitor is Asian but he speaks with an extremely harsh Cockney accent. Rather than it being "woke" I think the creators were just trying to squeeze everyone in considering they were marketing the game to fans all over the world.

There is no need for people from other countries to go to Hogwarts when they have their own prodigious school. Also, to be honest, I didn't pick up on any antisemitism, it didn't make me more antisemitic just because the main bad guy was a goblin, they also had a wizard bad guy... and good guys from both sides. The message that I got more from it was that goblins and wizards didn't have to be at odds with each other. On saying this, I still felt like it was bad advertisement... this was not what I would wish my experience of Hogwarts to be considering you start off in the fifth year and have to catch up, it also didn't feel like the late 1800's. I also wouldn't want to be extra special like the game portrayed with the magic. I wouldn't buy it just to spite.

I don't know if Slytherin counts as conservative, but they do attract more dark wizards and families more concerned with keeping their bloodline pure. I think the house is more about having ambition. Ravenclaw are more about wisdom and knowledge, Hufflepuff are more about loyalty and as we know, Gryffindor is more about courage. But either way, it makes more sense for Harry's time to be more progressive given that we were then.
