@Yellow_Heart It's a one hour OVA trying to cover an entire volume of manga, so none of the plot points make sense or build on one another. There's some war between angels and demons that the human protag is somehow mired in, but that takes a backseat to him desperately wanting to bone his sister. The climax hits, our protag wakes up and you find out none of it actually happened and he was just sleeping in class and dreaming. Also, his sister is actually his girlfriend, which deeply disappoints him after she has to remind him. She gets creeped out an runs away after she finds out about his incest fetish, he runs her down from behind, feels up her tits, they make up because of the power of boob grabs, end of OVA.

@Yellow_Heart @Mamako @prouddegenerate It’s very good. Very intense. I was between the ages of 15 - 18 when i did most of my readings of it so I’d have to go back and read it again. Honestly, I think it’s a book everyone should read, even though the subject matter is intense. There’s a lot more to it than “lmao humbert humbert is a pedophile”; and actually, considering it was published during the cold war, there have been theories about how it was about Russia (Humbert) and America (Lolita). It’s also a very difficult read if you’re not prepared for it and you do have to be aware that Humbert is an incredibly unreliable narrator. All in all, I actually really love the book and I’d suggest it but do keep in mind some pitfalls with it.

@Mamako @Yellow_Heart I’ve yet to find a yonkoma, 4-koma or four cell manga, as in each bit of story is divided into four parts, 1-2 columns per page, turned into an anime that I like. Need to try some more, though.Lucky Star might become significantly better, they fired the first director after four episodes so I’m going to give it another go starting with five sometime. The Initial D homage does suggest potential….My worst is also in part an example of that, the first Fafner in the Azure anime. The first episode was tremendous, but after that it’s told for too many episodes from the viewpoint of someone who has very little idea of what’s really going on; maybe there was supplementary material supplied by other media??? Way too many things make no sense at all without additional info you don’t learn later in watching the anime, and there’s some parts like the girl held back that I gather don’t make sense even after you know all the details.Grimdark to an extreme, and I really dislike anime where the good guys have terrific fighting machines and weapons which basically can’t scratch the paint of the opposition, that’s not drama, is not engaging. In this situation they had to try, but eh.
