But the damage to community & economy they wrought will take many years to reverse. But Australia has very strict gun laws and only available for limited purposes w strict licence, registration & storage control. Watch w horror US non stop killing, both deliberate & accidental, schools & public massacres, having to shop w people open carrying. Familes proud of an arsenal in their home, gun obsessed people. The need for tiny kids to experience gun drills is horrendous. As for the restrictive laws being enacted in many states, could not bear to live in or visit country that US has become. It is sad, it used not to be so extreme as now.
