       💔 🚨 2/28/23 will end supplemental SNAP emergency allotments in most of the 32 states which kept them in place -have helped feed >4M to stay above the poverty line.        @KimPerales My son is permanently disabled due to multiple surgeries & treatment for Osteosarcoma which left him unable to walk without crutches, drive, or work due to chronic pain, and his only income is SSDI.  He will now only get $60 for SNAP.  Who could live on that?  Thankfully he has a place to live with me although I am retired & on a fixed income, too.  For those not as lucky trying to figure out how to survive, I feel so badly, thus donating what I can monthly to local food banks.

       @KimPerales I volunteer for a food pantry. Over the past few months we have seen more clients than at any time in the past. This fiscal year USDA has allotted more funds to entities like ours due to increased food costs. Nevertheless, I am really concerned that SNAP changes may make it impossible to meet demand.
