In the past I refused to create a webshop for a 'client' once She was selling 'alternative healing' stuff for sick prices that made me quite angry..Lies, lies and more lies with as target desperate people who are sick😠I think designers/developers/freelancers should have standards and refuse projects when needed despite the money

@stux That really is moral bankruptcy. Scamming people who are desperate for help. This also applies to companies who price gouge after natural disasters...

@stux Depends on whether you can afford it. Not everyone has the luxury or being able to decline clients when they are not up to moral standards. That said, someone whose whole business model is one big scam is likely to scam you as well, so might still not be worth the hassle.

@stux Good move stux, I would do that too. These people are idiots and shouldn't get a shop to sell their stuff.

@stux Totally agree. And you can apply this to many more occupations. I figured this out 25 years ago (age 18). I started selling "effectenlease" products. The aggressive selling methods and the vibe, told me that there was something fishy going on. So I quit. That's when I decided to never work again in the financial sector.I was right about my hunch. About 5 years later 300.000 people lost a lot of money, while the banks got richer.
