I really think we need to drop the term "Conservative", for politics, in favour of "Regressive ", since it seems to more accurately describe their views

@fcktheworld587 I've started saying "small-c conservative" and "Bonkers Conservative" to distinguish between the two.

@fcktheworld587 I think they're actually more revolutionary than regressive The use of culture warfare is very close to the Maoist concept of revolution where classes are pitted against each other in order to achieve purity. The obvious difference is they are not on the side of the peasantsThey also believe in some kind of capitalist utopia where you thrive or die - Economic Darwinism? National Socialism? Who knows, but they need to be stopped before this goes further

@N12nick I mean, culture warfare predates Mao(see Nazis), and I'm sure it long predates the Nazis, too. I'd be shocked were it not something utilised in the American Civil War, and the American Revolution - and, likely, since time immemorial

@fcktheworld587 and it describes their tax policies. We should call fees, regressive taxes. When its called a fee no one calculates the tax rate. The less wealth you have the more your tax rate is.

@fcktheworld587 @N12nick term was coined by Bismarck (Kulturkampf) in his campaign against the Catholic Church in Germany.

@fcktheworld587 Been calling them "Radicals," for two decades. They are the opposite of conservative. Using their frame means we submit to their gaslighting.
