pretty wild how many people are still over there producing free content for the Nazi website. i get it if your livelihood depends on it or you need to maintain a social group, but people over there who consider themselves activists and progressives are posting about basketball and movies and shit on public accounts. idk man.

i think it made a lot of sense to give people the benefit of the doubt for a period of time while everyone was figuring out what was happening and getting their bearings and figuring how where and how to move their social networks somewhere else, but i am personally feeling like that period of time is now drawing to a close.

@tdfischer yeah, but i don't really think that's it. i think a lot of people really are just addicted to whatever it is Twitter does to people's brains. i'd been weening myself off it for a year or two already, so maybe it was easier for me.

@peter seriously tho, it’s so rare that there’s such a direct and simple way to take money from a nazi (just stop posting, he’ll get less ad revenue) and most people can’t/won’t because FOMO. Real profiles in courage moment playing out in real time.
