Ever since I had COVID 14 months ago, I get a cold every month or two.And while I’ve improved dramatically on cardiovascular/respiratory (I am a 10x marathoner), compared to having to stop to catch my breath every few minutes on runs early on, after a hard workout, my lungs hurt for days. This has never happened to me before in decades of running.#LongCovid #COVID

@obrien_kat Same here with the colds. I'm also a long hauler, and now immunocompromised. One common cold after another, it's exhausting. I don't do 'man flu', either, just get on with things. But being ill again and again over a period of months will eventually start to wear anyone down, physically and mentally - especially after long Covid, anosmia, post-viral fatigue, etc. Also same with the lungs. I tried to go for a run the other week but my lungs were on fire after only a few minutes. It's as if there's generalized micro-damage that can make breathing painful.I hope you can get your lung capacity back, as it sounds like running was a passion for you!

@BarrenPlanet I am very sorry to hear that. I’m fortunate mine isn’t severe, and I have been able to get back to running. But it is aggravating to still have impact (and yes, I know many have it worse!), and getting a cold that lasts 1-3 weeks every 1-2 months is exhausting!I hope you and all see improvement 🙏🏼
