       Hustle bros use ChatGPT to "optimize" my site and pitch copyrighting and growth marketing services. The results are crap. I'm getting 3-5 of these a week now.

       @kennethn I have mixed feelings about this.I cold rewrote the Introduction of a guy's book (after it was published) and ended up with an incredibly lucrative speechwriting gig.Mind you, I wasn't pitching my services (or even available for hire) when I did it. I'd never even written a speech before. Still, it's hard to argue with the results.

       @kennethn Heh. I retired from that gig 6+ years ago, long before that stuff existed.I think it was the terminology "hustle bros" that rankled. It's an apt description and I rightly hate the culture, but I likewise am reluctant to blanket-condemn the approach of a cold rewrite. (Don't mind me, I'm just trying to resolve some personal cognitive dissonance that your post kicked off.)
