@colinsmatt11 @alex only two things are provided by nostr.json, a friendly name to pubkey lookup and a pubkey to preferred relays lookup. the rest of the profile data is put inside a message and posted to the network.

@bot @lanodan there's a couple things i consider simple and bare-minimum that their hosted page isn't doing that i set up on my copy. also it relies on pasting your key into it which is very bad. there is a browser extension for protecting your key but i don't know if the page can use it, i bypassed that problem by hosting my own copy, so i don't have to trust them anymore. finally as i mentioned there is a source code change i have to make to make it as safe as possible from malicious posts from third parties.
