@onlinegoddess 🤣🤣 I am a lucky bugger ! Upgraded my series 7 last year. Prob the best Apple purchase I’ve ever made & thats coming from someone that’s always had iPhones & Apple Watches. Excuse the hairy arms 😀

@JRP69 I don’t think I could justify the ultra. As much as I like it, it’s serious overkill for me. Would like to upgrade my series 4 this year though. Every year, I intend to, but I keep holding off for better features, in particular blood glucose monitoring which gets rumoured every year then never turns up. I’ll be interested to see what they do with the ultra design this year. Will they keep it to the top end model or introduce a rugged design for the low end ones.

@onlinegoddess that’s spooky because on my walk this morning I was listening to cult cast podcast. They were talking about blood glucose feature on the watch. Possibly another 2-3 yrs away. I just loved the new rugged design & size. Not cheap & tbh nothing wrong with my 7 of course. Like what developers are doing with action button & just the extra real estate. The series is an excellent purchase of coming from the series 3.

@JRP69 I think I will have to upgrade this year as the S4 is a bit long in the tooth now. Saying that, it’s not slow and doesn’t feel like older tech.My husband has an S5, he’d really benefit from blood glucose monitoring as he’s diabetic.

@JRP69 Aww that’s OK. I only buy when a new model launches anyway - I enjoy the fun of having something that’s just been released and joining the group chat on MacRumors while we impatiently wait for it to arrive. 😄You should have seen me when the iPhone X was released. Sold out in 6 minutes and I got one! Just to be safe though, I ordered a backup from a different retailer, so ended up with two! 🤣
