could someone write a tool that automatically bolds half of every word in a text document?Asking because I'd be interested in potentially publishing my novel using this format but I don't wanna bold everything manually.

@Rasp I need a clearer definition of "half of every word". Because I could just make 1 bold letter 1 normal letter 1 bold letter etc. and it would technically work, but I don't think that's what you want

@Rasp (also define text document, because .txt files don't have bold. Is it markdown? LaTeX? ODT? Docx? Something else?)

@Rasp did you do this by hand? Some odd-length words are in the form "y-ou" and others "twi-ce".Is this nornal? If so what's the rule? (Like which half should have more letters?)

@bunni someone did this by hand i guess I'd lean on bolding more letters but I'm actually not sure how it should be let me look it up

@Rasp @bunni I literally wasted minutes trying to read only the bolded parts thinking it was a coded message before focusing on what the text said and realizing what it was for :blobwoozy:

@Rasp I looked it up, google docs has an overly complicated way of letting code format textIf markdown is good enough for you that would make the task easier for me (if not I can manage on google docs, just... it's a pain)

@RaspYeah there are some app that do this, maybe some EPUB readers already have that option.

@RaspWhat file format does the novel need to be in?
