I don't know how/if I can use mastodon/fediverse for this particular use case ("a major site appears down, let's see what's being said about that").Or can I? Any tips on that kind of thing appreciated.

@textfiles fair enough I suppose:)On the other hand, as one who really got on board the bandwagon of denying Elon twitter the attention that he/it craves, it’s continually frustrating whenever that is the place a relevant conversation is happening. Even if it’s complaining.
