       @duke But yes I agree. Social media should be a tool for organizing IRL activities, and beyond this its mostly a waste of time.

       @monsterislandcolonizer @duke It is useful to get news outside of the system's narratives. But you're right for the most part.     In the near future irl stuff needs to be something to focus on going forward, after filtering out the bad actors and harmful spergs of course. I know Matty has spoken a bit about bringing this into IRL meetups or activities, but we can't just hope he can do everything for us. We need to step up somehow as well.    It's good to see that others thinking the same way about this. The connections we make here have the potential to be of great benefit.

       @monsterislandcolonizer @duke It's something of a catch-22. There's quite a few people here who'd be cool to grab a beer with and BS, but I also feel a sense of imposter syndrome almost? I don't have many friends who are openly racially aware, and most people around me are conservative "colorblind", although everyone tends to self segregate with little animosity.
