Honestly, I'm sick of all the #Ubuntu hate that some Linux users are doing. It really grinds my gears. Ubuntu is a fine OS, it works like it's suppose to, #snaps aren't actually that bad, they aren't the #microsoft of the Linux world, and Ubuntu helps new users get familiar with Linux. It's Ubuntu that made Linux more popular than ever to the public and I'm very grateful for that. Idk, I just feel like people should stop hating on a distro and move on with their lives🤷.

Also, I'm not saying that Ubuntu is superior than other distros like Fedora or Linux Mint. I just wish the Linux community can get their act together and stop hating and fighting. This is literally what's holding us back from getting new users in!

@therealasahi95 I love Ubuntu! I used lubuntu (lightweight ubuntu with lxqt + openbox) as my main for almost a full year. What's funny is that people assumed I was a noob by using it, but I'm actually a skilled and experienced Linux and BSD user, and I would compile a lot of my own packages on Ubuntu that weren't available in the repos or the binaries in the repos were too old. What I loved about ubuntu was the stability and the build system, most projects on github will have debian/ubuntu instructions, so everything was easy, I didn't need AUR or snaps to get what I needed.I eventually went back to vanilla Arch Linux though, because I was having some performance issues doing DJing and music production, and wanted to be able to use the AUR to build this kernel called Linux Nitrous for haswell chips, and hand craft my system to be more lightweight. However I've learned to emulate lubuntu's look and feel now on Arch Linux and OpenBSD. I blame lubuntu for making me an lxqt + openbox advocate lol
