@charlie_root @dcc @james Yeah, it was Don Juan, a Linux user who set up a Pleroma instance on a personal domain, pleroma.rojogato.com. Then @GLFC joined after DistroToot shut down, then it was moved to rojogato.com because he intended it on being used for family but it didn't get used in the end. Then you two joined.

@james Yeah, the so-called tracker scene. This used to be big before MP3s made near-perfect reproduction of music in digitized form possible and really cheap.I think the first time I've listened to AC/DC's Thunderstruck it was actually a MOD (or S3M) file — it only had a few voice samples, but the instrumentation was top-notch, very close to the original.And I still remember this one as it came with Scream Tracker — popular software for creating such music: https://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=71402@splitshockvirus
