The squirrels used to party hardy on our back deck. They put the "wild" in "wildlife". @breitensteinart @sfwrtr yes, they are definitely different! These are called Douglas squirrels, which are native to the area in British Columbia, Canada, where I lived. They're much smaller and cuter IMO (despite their lack of a fluffy tail). There are no grey squirrels on the Sunshine Coast where this was taken. Grey squirrels have decimated the population of Douglas squirrels.
