@ParadeGrotesque Christ - if some person could manage to print a high resolution image complete with layout, margins and different fonts all correctly aligned on a single page remotely, I'd track them down and hire them as my full-time printer consultant.

@ParadeGrotesque this reminds me of the 800 or so network shared printers I could see while at university because all the student halls where on the same network. “Someone” wrote a similar print job script back then to much hilarity.

@ParadeGrotesqueOof! This was a big thing in the early days of broadband, but they eventually figured out that "put the whole neighbourhood on a local LAN" is maybe not the best plan... so now router makers have to screw it up individually. Of course.

@ParadeGrotesque Even better, turn off legacy port 9100 (JetDirect) support on the printer. No current OS needs it.(If you’re still running MS-DOS you have bigger problems to worry about.)
