Turns out that they stopped the topless thing and it was just lingerie. Having a waitress a couple decades past her prime in lacy underwear serve us cold eggs and toast felt unhygienic, even though I'm sure there isn't a lot inherent to that uniform that would make a difference in that way. @Leyonhjelm @grillchen @vriska @Moon @whiteline Sometimes I wonder what we can really do to support the victims of these crimes. There is not a lot that I can do but I do feel that it is important to listen to their stories if they want to share them and to be aware of what is happening. Only through awareness can I better protect myself, my children and my family. To be able to talk to people about this shit. I am grateful to the whistleblowers, to the brave young women and others for speaking out and for the protesters going against the mainstream to bring awareness and hopefully safety. Too bad antifa support the government on this issue.

@sim That's why I put the first instance in quotes.But I'm not convinced justice is a force for good beyond a certain point. As a Christian I'm thankful I can hope for mercy instead. @vriska @Leyonhjelm @Moon @sim @whiteline afaik a minority of them is actually pedo. most of them are just abusers who look for weak people to abuse. once heard roughly the number 95% in germany.some actual pedos know it is wrong and go great length like therapy or even chemical castration. while the latter should be supported imo the former makes sense to correlate with social issues and demographics. in some cases women/men shelter are a very helpful and useful institution. worst cases are those though tolerated by all adults close to the child. i have a friend with such a childhood and i have no idea how someone not involved could have helped her.

But mercy is a wonderful gift, especially for people that do repent for their wrongs and for lesser wrongs than we speak of here. Perhaps it is important to know when to be merciful and when to have justice. Although prevention is even better when it comes to greater evils.
