       Pokémon Go came out in 2016For a while 40 was max level Than a few years later 50 became max levelThere was a real grind in the early days as once people caught all the Pokémon there weren’t gen 2 and gen 3 Pokémon yet and you get more exp for every NEW Pokémon They adjusted the exp gainAnd added gens 2-8And some extra formsNeedless to say when you got to level 38 the exp was like half a million to level 39. Than 39-40 was 1 millionIt obviously changed I think it’s 5,000,000 exp But on Feb 5th I reached level 40Take of it what you willBeen playing Pokémon since 1997
