       @EdBoatConnoisseur It's how it eventually came out that Katyn was orchestrated by the Soviets. Until the 90s the mainstream opinion was the Nazis killed them.

       @weaf As far as I'm aware during the height of the 90s chaos after the collapse the archives were wide open for anybody to look through with no restrictions.

       @Yuro @weaf I don't think the right people were anywhere near that kind of thing, and it might even be in some sealed bunker or whatever other top secret facility that the soviets had.The proof could also lie with the English, impossible to say.At any rate, nobody in power would be interested in these getting out so even opposing parties would collaborate to keep them sealed.
