@krisSacrebleu A "can do" attitude is quintessentially American. It's our greatest advantage over the jaded, cynical dictatorships that try to compete with American democracy on the world stage. Well done President #Biden!And those who keep claiming that #Ukraine's desire to be a European democracy is an American propaganda fabrication need to explain why ordinary Ukrainians are fighting like hell for their freedom from #Putin's evil empire. @bouriquet @krisSacrebleuExactly. America did not create the struggle for freedom in #Ukraine. That struggle is genuine and has its origins in Stalin's Holomodor. In fact, the initial American approach (by #Trump) was to try to blackmail #Zelensky into smearing #Biden. We are standing by #Ukraine as we stood by the French and British resistance against the Nazis and the East German and Polish resistance against the USSR. America isn't perfect, but the alternatives are far, far worse.

@bouriquet @krisSacrebleu Absolutely, Trump was a Putin asset and a traitor. But he was elected president, thanks in part to Putin's scheming, and he unfortunately was temporarily in charge of our foreign policy. He committed an impeachable offense by blackmailing Zelensky, but the entire Republican party shielded him from the consequences of his actions. If we want to keep being an inspiration for the free world we must keep him AND his party out of power...

If the American justice system is at all functional,this will happen. If not.....
