Admiration ends and often a hero is seen as a villain later or as a threat and will be defamed or removed in some way. Cannot have a present outshing nobility now can we? I'd doubly join the demon lord if it's a waifu. I might be able to curtail her and make her my bitch proper and ensure humans don't get ko'ed.Tbh playing the hero in an Isekai will probably get u fucked in the long term. Heroes are only useful till the crisis passes, then they become a liability to those in power.

There are a few that take place in more interesting settings, but that obviously takes more work and skill otherwise we'd see more Isekai into settings like Tanya or one of the handful of Sci-Fi ones that are rarely super popular.

TL:DR the MC is a random villager who ends up making a deal with a demon because the Kirito expy I think it was ends up raping and pillaging his village and just short of killing him. MC swears vengeance, and we got a preview of the villain group which were clearly a bunch of expies of various popular Isekai shows.

It's clear the characters are direct references to related Isekai protagonists, and it was probably ruled they were just too similar for Japanese tastes.All in all though it's a real shame, even if it was probably gonna be mediocre and trashy, it was a novel and entertaining concept.

@LoliHat @supersid333 I think Isekai prptagonists who buy slaves would be better-looked at if they didn't think slavery is wrong.If you get a guy who is indifferent to it or likes it himself it is better. He's not having a change of heart or bends his morals, he sees buying a slave as something new the fantasy world can offer him compared to the old world.If you have him think "oh slavery is so wrong" right before buying a hoe, it makes him look inconsistent.

I am however shocked at the seeming lack of sci-fi/cyberpunk isekai. Or even cross-genre isekai. A witch-centric magical girl from the bog standard (and sometimes anachronistic) medieval times and a gene enhanced super sentai from a cyberpunk dwelling switching places, for example. Though they'd likely adapt a little too easily because I don't really see too much differences between the two. Maybe. Not like I watched anything along the lines of Power Rangers since Time Force.
