@shadowfacts Because there just isn’t any concept of “day” in the API, I guess. I guess they could’ve just returned say the first instant within the day or something but I think there’s lots of potential for things going wrong with that especially across time zones

@harshil that's fair, but then why use Date for DatePicker when the time is omitted from the picker?I think there's a reasonable argument for either, it's just the inconsistency I find irksome

@shadowfacts I do wonder if they’d go that route if they made DatePicker today, lots of the original iOS 13 API was just light abstractions over UIKit types
