@jeff yeah that's gotta suck. I've been experimenting with kodi and some other Foss software to see if I can cook up a Frankensteined Foss Chromecast but, nothing too great so far...Hopefully now that you know your issue you can prevent it from happening in the future now though lol

@jeff fair. I've eased off of google stuff for the most part so if it isn't available as a front end with invidious or piped I try to avoid it but, I can understand wanting the convience of how easy a Chromecast can be

@jame i wish i could rip all my blurays but 20% of the disks from cr/funi have defects in them which make them unrippable.do not EVER buy ANYTHING from cr/funi. everything they make LITERALLY ALL OF IT is unmitigated TRASH. pirating is objectively superior to their "premium" product.discs from sentai does not have this problem, ever.

@jame i will encourage anyone who thinking purchasing funi/cr licensed anime to refrain from doing so. there are objectively superior ways to watch that are actually reliable and accessible.
