@madjo @stux Toen kwam ADSL en dat was in het begin best aardig, tot het moment dat de lijn niet goed meer was voor de hogere snelheden. Te ver van de centrale af. Nu nog bij Ziggo, maar hier komt eindelijk glasvezel. Wel van Delta, dus even afwachten of dat ook wat is. Als ik de horrorverhalen mag geloven op internet is 't niet best ...

Dat hebben we hier in de provincie Groningen genoeg, maar het geeft zoveel ellende ... maar ik neem aan glas van KPN. 15 Kilometer verderop, in het lieflijke dorpje Borger -en een stuk kleiner qua inwoneraantal dan ons dorp, maar hey, zo toeristisch als wat- hebben ze ook KPN glas. Schijnt goed te bevallen.

I formerly worked for big corp and they was able to press on sales results on one internal lecture and pose as eco-friendly company on another few weeks later :blobcat_rolling_eyes:After that I feel it's nothing more than false greenwashing when someone still hold to infinite growth model, fundamentally incompatible with environment. But now it's "trendy" to be "green" and every big company wants to be presented this way...

@stux I guess all telco companies all are like that.. Happened to me as well at the Polish branch of the company that is also present in NL (originates from Germany and really likes magenta)... Although I was heavily tested from my LTE-5G/fibre networks skills during recruitment process I ended up in a call center, answering calls from angry business customers that got scammed by sales department for an service they don't need/was not available in their area/practically not working due to heavily overbooked network.Not to mention that I got basically instructed to lie the customers all the time or make stupid cover ups for not my fuck ups. Air conditioning in one of the critical data center on fire/half of the business customers on one, non redundant fibre optic that got cut etc. was a daily occurrence there.And at the end of the day I was getting yelled at like it was MY fault.Even though it's been almost a year I still haven't recovered from this with my self confidence evaporated practically 😅
