       i tested the new #debian #bookworm (Alpha 2) installer on my test PC.. ..it was a super-smooth install and it's fun to see all the new debian 12 graphics.. ..having the `non-free-firmware` automatically included will truly make debian exponentially easier to install for new users.. ..this might give debian a giant surge in popularity as an easy-to-install alternative to #ubuntu and ubuntu-based distros

       @e33io I still new to Linux, but to me Debian is trustful and I have it installed. But for time being, I keep Mint as first choice, but pondering if going to LMDE. Anyway - Debian, I like Debian too!

       @e33io :-) I have LMDE installed so I have the possibility to review how sw I use and install on standard Mint works and release level on LMDE in comparison.
