       2023 is the year that GNU IMP changes it's name to Libre Image and Graphics Manipulation Application (LIGMA).I'm sad that its old acronym is sometimes used in a derogatory manner, apparently often enough to warrant the name change.        @brainblasted I am fine with snarky jokes, but making posts that are designed to make people angry, upset, or disappointed is just a jerk move IMO.I was even skeptical of this one and looked on the web for a news article, announcement or gitlab/github activity to back it up. Obviously I was not thorough enough. ☹️
