@twizzay I used to wear them every day, but work wear has gotten a lot more casual. I wear cotton trousers now and not wool. Standards are slipping but I'm comfortable.What I wear to work nowadays would have been too casual for casual Friday 10 years ago

But this actually brings up an issue that I was planning on mentioning @hj about for a while now.If I have::pleroma, :instance, public: falsein my config.exs, then setting :pleroma, :restrict_unauthenticated,activities: %{local: false, remote: false}does not work unlessconfig :pleroma, :static_fe,enabled: trueBut there are lots of issues with static front-end. Even though I like that it avoids JS.

@billy_hughes @twizzay Not... Entirely...I was a fat kid, and when it's normalized in your family group, you kind of see it as natural until you really take a look at others around you. And as you're realizing it, you think that it's either not so bad, or there's nothing you can do about it anyways. There are also some who think that it's the clothes themselves that do the "attraction" and not the body behind the clothes that shape the silhouette.TL,DR: People can delude themselves into thinking they look fine, and some are stupid enough to not be able to differentiate why clothes work in the way they do.

@billy_hughes @twizzay If I ever get the time, money, and space, I'd like to get an old pair of elephant hide boots (old man's, he doesnt fit in em anymore) refurbished (if I can find em), and take up at least a decent button-up on a daily basis. I still need to figure out what khakis fit me best. I have wide, womanly hips that make the "pleated" khakis make me look dumpy.

@twizzay @billy_hughes Yeah, I need to figure out what works best with my figure. I absolutely hate pants that are tight around the waist. It's why I mostly wear carpenter's pants. Would like to find the khaki equivalent to that cut and shape, but it'll be a while before I need/have that money.

Minimal graphics.Tbh all my clothes I typically get ore from like thrift stores or second – hand places.I bet when I finally have my own house, I might appreciate clothes with a bit more utility. I already know I am going to have to buy a fixer upper. So, I will probably have more construction, carpentry, plumbing, renovation type projects going on around the house at that point in my life.

I accept the limitations as they are.Most folks on static front ends like honk or microblog.pub can't see or interact with polls anyway.I use this front end mostly for those folks, since their ui is mostly built around visiting other instances directly to view threads that are not pulled onto their instance.This just means that those smaller instances won't be able to rely on my front end to view my precious polls about neckties.Anyone who has a front end that supports polls, I assume can view and interact with them from their instance.Marking this issue as closed. :amigacheck:
