@Flick I rewatched Zulu recently. The setting and racial element are actually secondary to the themes of fear and anxiety relating to impending disaster or attack. Most of the film takes place in the run up to the Zulu approach, with the soldiers and missionaries aware that something devasting is coming. It could be set in almost any time, any war zone. These people are morons.
