So it should be able to run "normal" applications just fine?* =Wayland*** =XWayland** =X11

I see a lot of discussion about Wayland on Linux but rarely do I see anything being said about getting it running smoothly on the BSD class of operating systems. That's pretty worrying seeing as most still rely on X and probably won't be able to continue supporting it into the future by themselves.Thoughts?

@Maholmire @BrodieOnLinux Wayland doesn't work on BSDs, since a lot of Wayland code (compositors, client libraries, etc) rely on Linux-only set of APIs.

@drq @BrodieOnLinux oh Princess Celestia, he is an idiot.AppImage maintainers is my favourite genre of comedy. I still remember how probonobo recommended using 64-bit AppImage for 32-bit application, so users don't have to install multilib. While this is a great idea in theory, in practice it wouldn't work due to libGL. Then he referred to his own Wine experiment as like hey he did it, why can't I and then I ran OpenGL application in his Wine and it didn't work.He never talked to me after that.

@BrodieOnLinux @drq also libappimage/AppImageTool maintainer tried to teach me how to program in C......relying on undefined behaviour. They accepted my PR with stupid const qualifier fixes, but after that I decided I won't send them my other patch, like the one that just adds new platform support.

@lanodan @BrodieOnLinux @drq he even had a genius idea of packaging NVIDIA's libGL. Now look what flatpak does for this and it's just uhh.
