       @polarisera @Matthias_Corvinus Exactly. In order for a virus to stay alive, it needs to be spread as much as possible. If it kills the hosts it inhabits, it won't get spread. That's why new strains should get less and less harmful.

Viruses are not alive, and personifying them contributed to the propaganda scaring everyone, including lying to kids by putting faces and eyes on representations of the virus. Personally, I think that is crime, and those who made scary scientifically misinformed scare posters should be rounded up during the Nuremberg Trials. A virus has neither purpose nor desire. And biologists are morons who can't even explain how the protein codes turn into assembly instructions (oh, they can't, just ask one). "Under the right conditions" they self assemble, like magic -- and what are the right conditions? The right conditions are the conditions that the conditions are right for being the right conditions. You will soon realize they make everything up. Really they do. The very basics of molecular biology is a bunch of shouting.

He said we deal with germs all the time, we are in the business of keeping ourselves and our patients safe. We know what we are doing. I see some kids still wearing masks, and I'll ask them why, and they always say they just felt like it or they don't really know why.
