@threia lmao no, I spent 6 years in higher education and still plan to go back to finish the job after I stabilize my mental health and financial situation (which finally started happening this year so yay)

@mer well I dont have any “real” debt yet, only “technical” debt but the higher ed I’d like to pursue could actually put me in that situation and I am not sure of how to proceed, since I’d really like to go further

@threia not sure what that technical debt is, is it required service to an organisation that sponsored your tuition?Anyway, don't take it just from me but also from my not dropout friends, maybe take just a hiatus year to have a change of pace. If you're looking at higher ed to go into research or academics, you could try a teaching job (although I'm not sure of the system where you live).

@mer the “technical debt” is debt which I have the money for (all along), but I have/had to take it.Thing is I have a lot of options rn, but most come with a bit more insecurities than I’d like and than I’ve had this far. Makes it kind of hard for me to make decisions but I’ll have to start sorting them out sometime soon (atm I’m in a sort of special place due to what I studied and where I put my focus during uni but idk how long)
