       @thenewoil My #privacy setup includes a use of TRUSTED VPN, but I partially agree with the article and other major arguments against VPNs. They have a specific and niche purpose and should be a contributing part of a privacy strategy, but they don't do that much. However, the argument that often escapes the anti-VPN side is that reputable VPNs are often much more trustworthy than any ISP currently existing. ISP collect, log, monitor, sell and use customer data and traffic - VPNs may do that. Reputable ones don't (allegedly) and even if they did it is much easier to bounce between VPNs than it is between ISPs.

       @thenewoil VPNs have their use cases but they are usually not as useful as what Nord and Express will try to market them as. https://www.doineedavpn.com is pretty good for actually being realistici about what a VPN can and can't help you with.
