@fishsticks There are money making avenues you can pursue, bitcoin, stocks, content creation, having a secondary job like doordash on the weekends or something. I'd suggest flipping houses but you'd have to have a good amount to invest initially and I think that market is starting to fold due to oversaturation. As far as finding a gf good fucking luck.

@fishsticks Join the club, any venture you want to pursue these days means you need seed money from daddy or have somehow been able to save up 30 grand before you're 25 and have a ton of professional connections. @fishsticks College is a safe bet for a good number of kids, but you have to be really dedicated to your field and have the smarts to back it up, otherwise the three hours lectures, hundreds of hours or study, and trying to stay awake after an all nighter with coffee or adderall weighs too heavy on you. I got certified in CAD at a community college after high school, stayed employed for the better part of a decade before I got laid off and couldn't find another job in the field. I was able to parlay my skills into a skilled machine operator position, but it took a couple years of bouncing around from job to job until I found a good place. Don't feel self conscious about not going to college, it definitely not for everybody.

@PraxisOfEvil Everyone online told me it's a scam and from the experience I've had IRL it seems that way too. The concept is extremely appealing to me if I'm being honest (learning institution that is a small walkable city where you frequently connect with your bros and everyone is young, white, and attractive) but it seems like a lost cause as an older zoomer even if I got handed college for free at this point.
