So, for the #admins of my instance, Ican't follow hashtags. Is this instance up to date in order to let me do this? I want to start following them so I can have a more diverse TL. #mastodon #HashTags

@FlyingBlindUS Your instance, layer8.space is on Mastadon v4.0.2 (see down at the bottom, your instance name > About)According to the change history, following hashtags has been in since v4.0.0. @FlyingBlindUS @tezoatlipoca Following Hashtags is unfortunately known to be broken at the moment (at least on this instance).Hopefully I will have some more time to investigate with the next update that will be installed sometimes this week (hopefully).

@Sammy8806 @tezoatlipoca you probably don't nsed to see this as you probably have logs, but just in case here is a vid I finally managed to resize showing what happens when the follow hash tag thign is attempted. feel free to keep it untl the media goes away or something. Happy tuesday. I won't be able to respond until I get home and sleep, that will not be until tomorrow lol! caption: the user searches for a hash tag, clickes follow, then sees there is no hash tag in the list.
